信宏退伍後離開了台灣，到美國舊金山繼續升造，而與留在台北的女友婉臻分隔兩地。這對情侶很自然的選擇了使用視訊最為聯絡感情的方式，利用視覺與聽覺上的聯繫來抵擋感情之間的動盪與不安。然而，視訊也變成了一種觀看的方式，記錄了分散在太平洋兩端城市的戀人彼此的改變。
Hsin-Hong has moved from Taipei to San Francisco for a graduate study and become separated with his girlfriend Wan-Jane in Taipei. While the couple frequently uses webcam to talk and to see each other in order to fight against the turmoil of being far away from each other, the webcam also become a perspective that records the change of both characters located in two cities across the Pacific Ocean, Taipei and San Francisco.
